Yesterday was to have been a memorable day of celebration as Fayandrians gathered at Vox Angeli grounds to commemorate their Highnesses, Emperor Jedediah and Empress Fayandria, Rez-day. The Empress was joyful surrounded by her friends and family. There was dancing, vibrant conversation and light refreshments.
The merriment was violently wrecked by a ruthless, vicious and prolonged attack perpetrated by dark Queen Lucy. Our brave warriors fought relentlessly defending and protecting the Empire as well as Empress Faya’s welfare who was taken to a safe and secret place.
It was a long-lasting stakeout with fierce and brutal attacks by dark Queen Lucy. What followed has turned into great sorrow for the Empire… Empress Faya went missing. She was not at the safe location; her broken seal and wandering falcon were found there…
A notification was sent to Emperor Jedediah. It is believed that «Queen Lucy» was responsible and all that was known was stated in a missive containing the following words:
«Stepping into the glow of the seven crystals Lucy shields her eyes as she picks up and examines each crystal, the brilliance of each lessening and strengthening in direct correlation to the distance of one to another crystal. Mesmerized by the pulsing intensity of the light from each crystal, Queen Lucy becomes enthralled with arranging each crystal so the glow from one is identical to the adjacent one. Contemplating carefully the placement for the remaining crystal, she deliberately sets the crystal down and steps back to admire her accomplishment».
After hours of looking far and near, Prince Lander, Lord Raven and Lady Copper found themselves in Artstonia, where Lady Copper laid down for a rest. The men pushed ever onward and not long after, they stumbled upon a Drow and a Witch...
Lord Raven flew high with his wings of black and swiftly encountered a

Magic will be essential if we are to save our beloved Empress…
The day had been calm and quiet, the sun was setting and the shadows of dusk started to embrace our Realm…
Every creature and person was at peace starting to rest of a long day of duties accomplished…
No one expected a sudden ordeal after the chaotic experience brought to our Realm by the attack of Bonda, the orc.
Yesterday, Lady Anuchis, Queen's Coucelor, Ambassador to Scepterd and Princess of Westenguard, Valahari, was in her Manor in Inis Airdrie Valley preparing herself for supper while waiting for Lord Legend to return home for the evening.
According to a trembled note Lady Anuchis left behind, even though all was serene, she had in her heart a sense of anxiety telling her a tribulation was about to happen…
She felt shadows coming close. Her body shook and shivered, tears fell from her eyes through her cheeks as she sensed evil coming closer and closer…
She soon confirmed her intuition was accurate as she felt a cold breeze entering her home... for a demon breached through the safety of her walls and captured her.
Our beloved Lady Anuchis is missing.
Last we have known of her is that she was taken away from home to the shadows lands, where chaos and death reign… The Queen’s Council awaits for the Demon to send a scroll with his demands…
Lord Nax, Lord Landscape and Lord Buyaah, in the name of the Queen Fayandria and King Jedediah, will guide our knights through the shadows to find her and rescue her. Lord Stormy will accompany them as he has pledged his sword for the safety of Fayandria Citizens.
Its time for us, noble citizens of The Realm of Fayandria, to show our bravery and courage! It is time to fight to preserve our peace!
Those who want, can and should join our knights in this quest.
The Mardi Gras Tournament took place on February 21st and featured Jousting and Fencing.
The Jousting winners were Marilyn Breguet, first place and Gunner Slade, second place. The Fencing winners were Grock String, first place and Gunner Slade, second place.
The four winners were made knights by the HRH King Jedediah and HRH Queen Fayandria.

Jousting is a sport played by two armoured combatants mounted on horses. It consists of martial competition between two mounted knights using a variety of weapons, usually in sets of three per weapon - such as tilting with a lance, blows with the battle axe, strokes with the dagger or strokes with a sword - often as part of a tournament.
Though the first recorded tournament was staged in 1066, jousting did not gain in widespread popularity until the 12th century. It maintained its status as a popular European sport until the early 17th century.
Jousting was added to tournaments several centuries after their inauguration. The joust permitted a better display of individual skill and, although dangerous, offered large sums of prize money. Many knights made their fortune in these events, whilst many lost their fortune or even life.

Fencing had its origin in Europe and it is the sport of armed combat that involves cutting, stabbing, or slapping bludgeoning weapons directly manipulated by hand, rather than shot, thrown or positioned, including swords, knives, pikes, bayonets, batons, clubs, and similar weapons.
The word fence was originally a shortening of the Middle English defens, that came from an Italian word, defensio, in origin a Latin word. The first known use of defens in reference to English swordsmanship is in William Shakespeare's Merry Wives of Windsor: «Alas sir, I cannot fence».

Ladyheart Janick and Landscape Rosca, our Seraphim exchanged vows in the Vox Angeli Chapel, on the evening of 25th February 2009.
It was a beautiful celebration of Love that draw together the closest friends of the merry couple, including their Majesties, the High King Jedediah, the High Queen Fayandria and Princess Jaelle.

Let not my love be called idolatry,
Nor my beloved as an idol show,
Since all alike my songs and praises be
To one, of one, still such, and ever so.
Kind is my love to-day, to-morrow kind,
Still constant in a wondrous excellence;
Therefore my verse to constancy confined,
One thing expressing, leaves out difference.
Fair, kind, and true, is all my argument,
Fair, kind, and true, varying to other words;
And in this change is my invention spent,
Three themes in one, which wondrous scope affords.
Fair, kind, and true, have often lived alone,
Which three till now, never kept seat in one.

Just a few days ago, on a bright sunny afternoon, HRH King Jedediah, HRH Queen Fayandria and Princess Jaelle were out riding, accompanied by Lady Aynne, the Ard Filea, Rendal and Lady MusicalMystic. Lord Landscape, the Seraphim was escorting the royal excursion as they were trying to find their way to Lady Anuchis’ residence. As the group joyfully advanced in their journey, they got off the beaten track in order to admire a beautiful waterfall.
Suddenly, the Royal Family and their fair friends were pushed away from their peaceful tour when an Orc came cross their path attacking them with such anger and fury as if he wanted to hurt or kill every living creature on the face of the earth.
King Jedediah and the Seraphim courageously fought back defending themselves and the fair ladies touring with them. As the fight with the Orc evolved a cloud of dust arose. The screams, the noise, the blood and the violent Orc scared little Princess Jaelle and as she panicked in fear she got off her saddle and started to run. As the confusion grew and the dust cloud got thicker, nobody noticed that the Orc started chasing our little Princess… The more she ran, the more he chased her!
Frighten as she never was in her life, Princess Jaelle looked back to the Orc and tripped on a tree route helplessly falling to the ground. The Orc grabbed her disappearing into the woods.
In the middle of such noisy mess, no-one heard Princess Jaelle cries for help and she was taken away from her family and friends. She fainted in horror only to wake up in a cage in a strange place.
As the dust came down and the air clean up, Queen Fayandria realised her little Princess has disappeared! Barely after the struggle for their lives and while still catching their breath, they all realised Princess Jaelle was no longer with them… She has been taken by the Orc! Queen Fayandria fell to her knees in fear of loosing her little child.
The Royal excursion was forced to return to the Duhallow Castle in order to find a solution to rescue the Princess from the enraged Orc. But they had to wait for his demands… for some kind of clue… while figuring out a way to capture this creature…
After two long hours, the first message came with a drawing of Princess Jaelle caged… The Orc demanded food, lots of food, a bowl and a certain amount of money. It was imperative to act immediately and so the Seraphim flew across the Realm to find traces left by the Orc and to try to recognise the place where that drawing was done… But there was no success.

The Seraphim flew directly to that area and found Princess Jaelle lying on the ground of the cage, timidly crying for her dear mother. Lord Landscape was ready to punish the Orc but he was no where to be found in the area. He opened the cage and took the princess into his arms.
Their Majesties, Lady MusicalMystic and the Ard Filea were trying to get there as fast as they could to help the Seraphim fight and put down the dangerous creature.
As King Jedediah arrived to the site, he was relieved to see the Princess was safe and sound. However and even though his heart was at rest, he was still very angry and eager to punish this Orc.
The Princess was taken back to the Duhallow Castle by Queen Fayandria, the Ard Filea and Lady MusicalMystic. The rest of the day was spent taking care of the little princess and keeping the surveillance for signs of the Orc.
The dawn brought reports of Orc sightings and so the hunting began. The Seraphim spotted the Orc in the gardens near the town centre and went to his way… As the Orc saw him, he went to attack him and the Seraphim drown his bow and hit the Orc with three arrows. The Orc got spooked and scared and started to run. The Seraphim purchased him all the way until Inish Airdrie, where the Orc kept his camp, hidden away from sight. There, the Seraphim hit him again, this time with five arrows. Although afraid and in pain, the Orc fought Lord Landscape who defeated him with his sword and captured the Orc with his net for he did not intend to kill him.

Bonda, the Orc was put in a cage in Inish Conra and there he awaits his fair trial. As we celebrate the courage of our brave Seraphim, let us not forget that Orcs are fallen Elves so they have a heart… Let us pray that Bonda finds his path in doing good and embraces the peace and charm of the Realm of Fayandria.
At dusk, there was a Grand Ball, the first of this glorious year, to celebrate the rescue of Princess Jaelle and to celebrate to victory of good against evil. The guests danced the night away to the sounds of Celtic melodies…
